At some point, the US media will stop calling President Trump a crazy, stupid failure.
Right?
I trust this is just throw away language or China will be partying while Taiwan, Japan and the rest of the SE Asian countries will be ramping up their militaries.
and a previous president got a Nobel Peace Prize based on his intonations and pigmentation.
Not holding my breath for the same treatment for DJT, nevertheless....
WINNING!!!!!
To be gracious about it.
Should be interesting how the media is going to turn this into a negative.
How are democrats going to react? We already know that they are willing to sacrifice this country and us to promote their leftist goals, so they will be unhappy over this success of Trump’s.
Trumps “Nixon/China” moment.
What kind of spin does the MSM put on this?! I’m sure they’re working on that this very minute.
They will never give in.....ever.

...go over and check DU and youll get an idea....I now have to shower..
Its about time Japan pickled up the ball. WWII is over and they need to change their Constitution to allow greater spending and less “defense” and more “offense”.
Right?
LOL! When pigs fly.
I think they are trying to get that done now (changing the constitution). Let’s remember, that was put into the Constitution that we drafted for them. I would especially like to see them increase the size of their navy and air force. That is what is needed in that part of the world. I think we also need to do far more cooperation with India whose Navy is pretty good. They are no friend of China and can be a key player as well.
That part is concerning to me. He referred to them, not at "military exercises" but as "war games". That's the North Korean and the Chinese term for them. Why the change? He said one reason for stopping them was that they were "provocative"; again the North Korean and Chinese description. And if we're going to stop the military exercises with South Korea because they are "provocative" then will we stop the practice of sending ships through the South China Sea for the same reason?
We’ve done enough. We need to fix our own ravaged economy. The Globalist Free Traders did a number on us....
Its nothing the North Koreans haven’t agreed to do before and the US concession on the war games gave them a gift that was an unneeded gesture.
Those will be the Left’s main lines of attack on the US-North Korea denuclearization deal. Never mind they couldn’t negotiate one better than Trying did.
They just have to discredit him even if he ushered in a historic era of peace for the US and its allies.
I think his intention (probably after he returns to the WH), is to task the Pentagon to refigure it’s worldwide footprint (not just South Korea).
What I’ll predict is that you see 25-percent of the US forces in SK gone by the fall of 2019. Some might end up in Alaska or Guam, and the rest probably start to be put to tasks along the US border (posts/bases in NM, Az, Texas, Cal). I think the bulk of the 35,000 troops there will be gone within four years.
I’ll also go out on the limb and predict that the bulk of US troops in Germany....are probably gone within three years. Some might end up in Poland, and the rest brought back to the states as well.
When the eight years end of the Trump era....we can all say that it’s a dramatic change to the landscape, lesser tensions existing, and less cost to operate the Pentagon. I also think there is an economic boom coming to South Korea, and they will be a dominating economic force over the next decade.
I'm no military expert, so I'll ask what seams like a logical question. With today's technologically advanced militaries, compared to the 1950's and 60's when these troops were stationed in South Korea, are the 35-40k US troops essentially a condensed sitting duck target if things were to break bad over there?
“At some point, the US media will stop calling President Trump a crazy, stupid failure.
Right?”
If this peace is successful, the press and the rest of the left will will relentlessly look for ways to not give Trump any credit.
