The Dims will need to beef up their plantation police.

That’s a very nice thing for her to say.

Many criminals never stop unless incarcerated or eliminated.

I’m sure Bill Maher hopes something bad happens to her.

21 years seems more than enough for her crime. I approve of this pardon, but I don’t think M. Ali should receive one, for that would be a slap to the Vietnam veterans who served.

By making President Trump proud, she will also be making herself and her grandchildren proud. A Twofer.

It does sound like she got a disproportionately severe sentence

We are praying for you Alice, we know you will help countless people to avoid the pitfalls that cost you so dearly. Just remember, God uses all things for good.

We’ll see
This “ first time nonviolent drug offender” was part of a cartel that trafficked 2-3 TONS of cocaine through Tennessee
Everyone wants to act like Granny just sat in a hotel room answering phones
She was a merchant of death and people died from the product she made money selling
So much so that the obama DOJ - which pardoned dozens of cocaine dealers - turned down this sweet old black woman 3 times
Not feeling the joy here, thinking of those who lost their kids and other loved ones
So,lets see what Alice does that may be comforting to them
Nonviolent crime

Sure this woman has served her time but remember just because a person was convicted of a non-violent offense does not mean they are not violent. Besides selling drugs that can easily kill (like fentanyl) is not non-violent in my book.

Will this be treat equivilently to Robert Kennedy convincing (bribing?) a judge to release MLK from jail on the eve of the 1960 election? That was where the Drmocrsts secured the black vote for the next 56 years. Will blacks now switch to Trump and his nstionalist wing of the Republican party? Stay tuned.

President Barack Obama did not intervene in the case during his eight years in office because the Justice Department recommended denying Johnson's request for a commutation. Three requests were made -- one during his first term, two during his second -- but they never reached Obama's desk because he followed Justice Department recommendations, a senior Obama administration official told CNN.

Riiiight. Mr Black Defender. Mr On Top Of Things. Mr Brilliant.

Obama NEVER thought to ask his Justice Department for a list of people that were imprisoned on first time drug offenses. Didn't he speak of this often? Like ALL of the Democrats?

Democrats don't care about results; they only care about the soundbite.

I bet she will. I read she was a model prisoner.

This reminds me of C. S. Lewis contrasting “honest criminals” with evil politicians in That Hideous Strength.

Trump should immediately issue an invitation to Ms. Johnson for a White House visit, five years hence, in 2023 to congratulate her on her success.
