Rep. Steve King (R-IA) talked about the ever-worsening scandal surrounding Imran Awan and his ex-employer Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Breitbart New’s Whatever it Takes with Curt Schilling Wednesday.
The Pakistan-born longtime congressional Democratic IT consultant was arrested by federal authorities as he tried to flee the country Tuesday, sending hundreds of thousands of dollars ahead of himself to Pakistan.
Rep. King, a staunch conservative and ally of populist nationalism, stressed that the facts are anything but clear at this stage. The surface narrative itself was suspicious enough for King even before getting into the extensive criminal allegations against Awan and his brothers. The trio is reported to have been paid over $4 million over the last last eight years for providing IT services for Wasserman Schultz and up to 24 other Democratic congressman. Imran Awan himself was reportedly kept on as a “part-time” employee at a $165,000 salary.
“If the reports are right, if these three individuals…drew down, over this period of time, $4 million and Debbie Wasserman Schultz had a part-time employee who’s making $165,000 that she just fired – what – yesterday afternoon?” King mused with Schilling. (Excerpt) Read more at breitbart.com ...

<><> The Pakistani nationals under scrutiny by Capitol Police have since fled the country.

FACTS ON FILE Cong Debbie Wasserman Schultz's "IT advisor" is a VIP in Pakistan. In Pakistan, Imran Awan introduces himself as "from the US Congress" or from federal agencies. The Pakistan govt apparently considers Imran very important b/c of his representations about his political power in the US. Imran travels in Pakistan with a VIP police escort.
Should the press decide it’s time to man-up and do some actual journo work, they might ask:
1. Who coordinated the hiring of the Awan clan by dozens of Democratic Congressman?
2. Why were they so grossly overcompensated w/ millions of tax dollar for little or no work?
3. Were kick-backs to the Democrats included? For doing “dirty work.” Or was the clan blackmailing them?
4. Why did D/W/S threaten the Capitol Police about the laptop confiscated from Imran Awan?
5. Why did D/W/S keep Imran on her payroll after the Capitol Police barred the Paki clan from accessing Congressional computers?
6. Why did Iraqi fugitive and Hizb’allah supporter, Dr. Ali-al Attar, “lend” the Awan’s $100,000?
7. Who is paying Chris Gowen, a bigtime Clinton insider, to represent Imran Awan?
