And you think that will come even close to the cost of relocating and basing an armored division from the U.S.?

If you want to talk "cost," there are still victims of the Nazi Holocaust and Soviet Occupation living today. Considering what those many millions of innocent victims had to pay, the lingering aftereffects on their families and society, and the bullying the Polish state continues to endure especially from Russia. No, a base is a small price to pay.

When you consider things like our inexcusable trade deficit with China, I would rather our resources go to such worthy causes as cementing our alliances with genuine friends.

Why is it our job to pay it?
