Open your markets wide and unencumbered to ALL U.S. goods or our market closes to you. Our market constitutes 25% of all economic activity and is your largest trading partner, IE: Customer.
America is everyone’s largest customer. The customer, in the long run, has all the power. He can always chose not to buy. Trump just told them to open their markets or we stop buying.
Trump has the upper hand. We run massive trade deficits. We can and will easily weather a trade war as we will find that lots and lots of American companies will be happy to open local manufacturing facilities to supply the newly increased and wealthier work force with the junk we are presently importing from China, Canada, Mexico & the EU.

They’ve had lots of G7 summits during a trade war before this one. Of course, the press didn’t call it a “trade war” when the previous left-wing president(s) were surrendering on the trade front.

The UN should fall. Its responsibility for the rise of Islamic terror, never mind its blatant support for world communism (its charter is a clone of the 1936 USSR constitution), needs to meet its due punishment.

This trade war has been raging for some years now. The prior presidents, especially Obama, did not fight back. Trump is the first to fight back.

And right now these “rug riders,” “elephant humpers,” and “goat jumpers,” are angling for the US to essentially build them a “new HQ” in NYC on our dime because the current UN HQ “is too old and inadequate” for them. I've seen numbers north of $5 billion for same. It's the “right time” to tell the UN that it needs to move “closer to it's center of thinking,” which means moving it to Qatar or some other Arab luxo-$hithole. Let them try to get out of parking tickets somewhere else.
