Papadopoulos Was Approached by 'Highly Suspicious' Businessmen, His Wife Claims
The Daily Caller ^ | 7 June 2018 | Chuck Ross

In the wake of the revelation that an FBI informant lured George Papadopoulos to London during the 2016 campaign, the former Trump campaign adviser has grown skeptical of many of his contacts during and after the election, his wife says.

Papadopoulos’ contacts with the FBI informant — a former University of Cambridge professor named Stefan Halper — have been widely reported over the past several weeks. The 30-year-old Chicago native’s interactions with Joseph Mifsud and Alexander Downer, two diplomats who are key to special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling in the election, are also well known.

Simona Mangiante, Papadopoulos’ wife, is now drawing attention to two other encounters that Papadopoulos has had over the past two years that she considers “highly suspicious.” One of those contacts offered to pay Papadopoulos $30,000 a month while he worked inside the Trump administration.

“It looks to be one among a series of attempts to entrap George. The question today to me [is whether] these people are simply shady businessmen or are they part of a greater attempt to entrap George in illegal activity,” Mangiante, a former attorney in the European Parliament, told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

One of the people who has raised red flags is Sergei Millian, a Belarus-born businessman who is alleged to be a major source for the infamous Steele dossier. Papadopoulos also had a mysterious encounter with an Israeli national on the Greek island of Mykonos, Mangiate, who married Papadopoulos in March, said.

The catch was that Millian said Papadopoulos would have to remain in the Trump administration while carrying out the work.

This was quite a sting operation run by the Obama Administration and its foreign allies meant to dirty up Papadopoulos and then use the dirtied-up character as an intelligence 'rabbit' -- a pretext to claim a legal basis to monitor the communications of the Trump campaign.

Professor Mifsud, for whom both Papadopoulos and his wife worked for short periods in London, apparently went to some lengths to give people the impression that he was plugged into Moscow.

In an email he gave Papadop's wife Simona the impression he had just gotten back from Moscow:

But an internet researcher found evidence Mifsud had actually been in London in the days prior to that email:

At 01:30 AM on October 29, 2016, Joseph Mifsud told Simona Mangiante that he was in London.

Mifsud had actually been in London since, at least, October 27, as he moderated a London Centre panel at Gray's Inn.https://t.co/dDoMgE0f2qhttps://t.co/pP17S7Ih32 pic.twitter.com/o6rHriqpie— The_War_Economy (@The_War_Economy) June 6, 2018

Sounds like Papadopeylost is either muddying the waters to disguise/minimize/confuse his FBI informant links and evidence, or was suspicious of a setup - yet went through the setup anyway to try to get more influence, a higher post in the Trump campaign.

I’ve been floating a slightly different theory.

First, it’s important to note that in the Mueller plea agreement, Mueller got Papadop to swear that he first met Mifsud on March 14, 2016 in Italy, that Papadop believed Mifsud was a Russian Agent (in reality it appears not a Russian but an MI6 agent), and that this was after Papadop was told his application as a Trump advisor was accepted.

So the phony narrative is, Mifsud the Russian Agent offered Papadop the Trump Advisor advance knowledge of the DNC hack weeks before it became public. Collusion!!!

But internet researchers have found on the wayback machine pages proving that Papadop was already working as an employee for Mifsud’s outfit in London as early as late February 2016. So he knew already knew Mifsud before the Plea Agreement claims.

Why the lie in the Plea Agreement?

Because I think the US Gov was already illegally searching Team Trump communications in February and earlier.

The US Gov knew before Papadop knew that he had been accepted as an advisor to Trump!

Also, they were illegally searching all of Papadop’s comms. His private Facebook messages, his texts, his emails, his phone calls. They knew everything.

And they found some dirt. Maybe drug usage. Who knows. But that’s why we have a Fourth Amendment, so the Government cannot just examine who they please and take advantage of people’s weaknesses.

The exposure for illegal spying is also why as soon as Mueller learned the Inspector General had Strzok and Page’s texts, Mueller had Papadop arrested that night without even getting a warrant first. With no lawyer for Papadop.

Mueller was caught with the FBI’s pants down and a lot of this is to cover up their wrongdoing.

And they had Papadop over a barrel, and used their leverage to cover up for the US Gov.

- July 27, 2017, IG Horowitz notifies Mueller he has thousands of texts between Strzok and Page revealing use of “ oconus lures “
- Mueller panics, scrambles, quickly arranging Papadopoulos` arrest on the same day at night on verbal order from District Court Judge Beryl Howell. Howell represented the Clintons at the Clinton Foundation.
- PC is rarely if ever used by the Federal
Government. Warrants and evidence first, then arrest.
- Papadopoulos was interviewed without legal
representation. Papadopoulos drops the name ‘Mifsud’.If Mifsud were a Russian agent colluding with Papadopoulos, Papadopoulos would have never volunteered such info.
- Papadopoulos was held and arraigned the next day without legal representation.Mifsud was working for the west to penetrate the Trump campaign to entrap low level echelons.Entrap- eg; ‘Human resource agent’ pretends to be a contractor working on your house. Keeps telling you if you heard about that bank job over and over.Weeks later you`re sitting in a diner. Another guy walks up to you and talks about the same bank. You mention what you were told about a ‘bank job’. You are immediately arrested for conspiracy to rob a bank.
- Papadopoulos was threatened to cop a plea or else extra charges of being an Israeli foreign agent would be piled on.
-Concerted effort to jail and shut Papadopoulos up.

else extra charges of being an Israeli foreign agent would be piled on.

I suspect they had more on him from illegally examining all of his private communications in the NSA database, but that's all he told his now-wife they had on him.

Amazingly, the deep state and democrats have the truth on the defensive and on the run.

Mueller is an un-constitutional inferior officer illegally appointed by co-conspirator Rosenstein, the de facto AG of the DoJ.

My guess,Sessions is the one who had his NSA file waved under his nose and capitulated. He is the ‘insurance’ Page & Strozk were talking about.

Yup and onJuly 27, 2017, IG Horowitz tells Mueller he has those texts. Mueller panics and orders the feds to arrest Papadopoulos on probable cause. Something federal law enforcement rarely if ever do.

Obama`s goons used overseas lures/spies to try entrap low level Trump workers.
Its political espionage , its very illegal and its very likely they get away with it.

The intriguing question about Sessions is why he recused himself so broadly and so prematurely.

He didn’t have to recuse himself under either the DOJ rule or the legal ethical rules of professional conduct from all counterintelligence collection against Russia.

When a legitimately-predicated criminal investigation to which he has a conflict appears, then he needs to look at that.

But before any such matter appeared, Sessions recused himself from anything connected to Russia or to the Hillary campaign or to the Trump campaign.

People in another thread are scorching Sessions for not prosecuting Awan, but I’m pretty sure his recusal covers that, so he is simply not involved in that.

My suspicion: he got a message early on from Brennan and/or Comey that Sessions himself was in the crosshairs. He may not have known that Papadop in particular was one of the weapons the FBI had to use against him, but he knew it was something.

There was a conversation Papodopoulos had with a person at a nightclub who turned out to be a reporter, which Papadop later denied, in which he talked about his extensive contacts with Sessions during the campaign.

Whatever dirt the FBI was holding over Papadop’s head was IMO first and foremost to get him to compose something incriminating on Sessions to take Sessions off the chessboard, and secondly simply to support the phony Russia collusion narrative generally.

Comey and Brennan made Sessions an offer that Sessions felt he couldn’t refuse, so he recused.

“Comey and Brennan made Sessions an offer that Sessions felt he couldn’t refuse, so he recused.”

Must be serious dirt otherwise any honourable man would resign, thereby facilitating the end of the illegal mueller witch hunt, instead of handing the powers of the DoJ to Deep State Rosenstein.
This ends badly as long as deep state owns DoJ.

Bottom line-none of this would have happened if Hillary didn’t abuse classified documents. They have managed to take Hillary’s corruption and frame innocence people. These people are evil.

The eye candy in the photo is a lefty Italian lawyer who married Popadop after he was arrested. She has ties to Misfud and other shady characters.

This whole circus is going to become so complex, unbelievable and muddied that it would take a Very Stable Genius to reduce it too something Joe and Jill Sixpack can understand.

She was actually only with Mifsud for three months, and he let her go at around the week of the election without paying her what he promised, according to her.

My theory on her: Mifsud hired her to see if she could be groomed as a honey pot for the spy business.

As we have seen, it helps if you are in the spy business to have a young lovely assistant who can serve as a honey pot to extract information from targets.

But I’m guessing she proved unsuitable due to a fiery personality or independent streak or something, and Mifsud cut her loose.

1. Fiction is truly anemic compared to the rich tapestry of the bizarre that we are privy to in daily life: consider this:
Simona Mangiante first connected with Papadopoulos on LinkedIn after Papadopoulos noticed they shared a mutual connection.

2. That connection was Joseph Mifsud, a most mysterious former Maltese government official who ran an institute called the London Centre of International Law Practice in Britain. THE Joseph Mifsud now made infamous by her husbands indictment by Robert Muller.

3. Mangiante, started working at the organization after meeting Mifsud while she was employed at European Parliament in Brussels. Papadopoulos, who had worked for Mifsud’s organization as well, reached out to say he liked her profile picture.

4. Mangiante left the London Centre of International law after three months, after concluding the law office was “a facade for something else.” But the two continued to talk over the Internet, before meeting in person for the first time in New York in spring 2017.

5. Mangiante was introduced to Mifsud in 2012 by Gianni Pittella, a well-known Italian MEP who in 2014 became president of the Socialists and Progressive Democrats group. “I always saw Mifsud with Pittella,” So, Mangiante knew Mifsud for many years before she did Papadopoulos

6. Mangiante worked for 2 European parliament officials, Mairead McGuinness, a vice-president & McGuinness’s Italian predecessor Roberta Angelilli. She was also admin to home affairs committee under Martin Schulz, then a German MEP & now leader of Germany’s Social Democrats

7. So Mangiante moved within the corridors of power within Europe’s Italian Democrats & German social democrats. When her contract expired, Pittella suggested she go work for Mifsud in London who offered her a job in 2016 at the London Centre of International Law Practice

8. in September 2016, Mangiante received a message on the LinkedIn social network from George Papadopoulos. Papadopoulos had worked at the same London Center of International law centre briefly before joining Trump’s campaign. That was the beginning of their acquaintance.

9. It appears that Mangiante started her job around September 2016, the same time as she started corresponding with Papadopoulos. Mangiante was not happy with her work in London.

10. The entire institution seemed “fake”, “artificial”, with Mifsud interested solely in organising political meetings. “I didn’t smell a culture of academia” Mifsud’s diplomatic activity, Mangiante now believes, was a facade. “I never met any Russians there”

11. Mangiante quit her post there after three months, in November 2016. In the meantime, Mangiante’s romance with George began. After several unsuccessful efforts to get together in London, they met in March 2017 in New York. They hit it off, began dating and fell in love

12. Prior to meeting Mangiante, FBI had interviewed Papadopoulos Jan 2017 in connection with the collusion investigation. Papadopoulos gave federal agents a false account of his meetings with Mifsud. So he deleted his Facebook account and changed his cellphone number.

13. So almost 3 months prior to Papadopoulos actually meeting Mangiante he was already in the crosshairs of FBI, he was deleting facebook, changing phone numbers and like James Bond, was actively romancing a beautiful woman. Plausibility check # 1, what do you think ?

14. On the day Papadopoulos pleaded guilty, Mangiante was at her boyfriend’s family home in Chicago. There was a ring at the door. A casually dressed man informed her that he was a federal agent. He was serving her with a subpoena from Mueller.

15. Mangiante decided not to hire a lawyer after discovering they cost $800 an hour. She turned up alone at Chicago FBI headquarters. the FBI was interested in her relationship with Papadopoulos. Was it genuine? “They asked: “Do you love him?” “Yes”. They replied: ‘He is lucky’”

16. Plausibility check # 2. Do you think about how much lawyers cost when the FBI tells you that your boyfriend is chin deep in legal manure and you may be too? Stormy Daniels gets a lawyer for free, but someone being investigated by the FBI thinks about a lawyers cost?

17. March 2016 Papadopoulous learned he would be Trumps foreign policy advisors, he ended up meeting Mifusud on March 14 2016 while he was traveling in Italy (where Mangiante was, coincidentally). Important: He met Mifsud first in Italy, see indictment (click here)

18. Mifusd’s interest is piqued when he learned that Papadopoulos was going to be involved with the Trump campaign. They meet again subsequently in London on March 24th 2016 when Mifusd was accompanied by the “Putins niece” Olga Vinogradova, who like Mifsud has now disappeared.

19. Papadopoulos met Mifusd again on April 24th 2016 for breakfast at a London hotel. This is the first time that Mifsud tells him he knows the Russians have “dirt” on Hillary. Mind you the DNC leaks weren’t published till June/July 2016. Important point right there.

20. That DNC was hacked by the Russians remains a matter of great contention and those with exquisite expertise in cybersecurity don’t agree with the assertion that Russians hacked it. Remember the only people that conducted the investigation into the hack were CrowdStrike

21. Now we turn the bizarre dial to 11, why did Papadopoulos say to Mangiante when he was looking at her LinkedIn profile that they worked for the same company? Two things wrong with this: I couldn’t find any evidence that Paps worked for the London center of international law

22. and if he did, he would have known Mifsud from his work, so the whole theory of his being introduced to Mifusd falls flat.

23. The BIG question: by the time Papadopoulos began corresponding with Mangiante in Sept 2016, he was a part of the Trump Campaign, what was he looking at LinkedIn profiles of people working at the London center of international law for? What am I missing here?

24. I have more questions than answers, but the timeline just doesn’t add up, there is a lot missing here apart from my functioning neuronal circuitry. All of this is important in the context of Mangiante’s recent media blitz and her asking for Trump to pardon Papadopoulos.

25. Feel free to add to what I have just outlined. Things are not only a little askew here but seems that we are seeing this whole matter askance and many facts are obscured by layers of hearsay disguised as factual information. -fin.

26. Addendum: anybody else find it most peculiar that Mangiante worked for Italian and German social democrats? Especially now that we know that MI6 (Downer/Steele/Halper) were probably involved with the genesis of the Steele dossier?

27. Mifusud appears to be more aligned with the UK than he is with the Russians, Mangiante herself said so. Also she has since dialed down her touting of her husbands role in the Trump campaign, why?

Here is a pic of Papadop already a part of Misfud's London Centre of International Law and Practice on February 25, 2016. That is weeks before the March 14 date that Mueller had Papadop swear he met Misfud the Russian Agent in the Plea Agreement.
