USSC ruling on MasterPiece Bakery “artistic freedom” declared the painter/artist can NOT be compelled!
It is that “artistic expression “ part which SCOTUS ruled. Not sure the “artistic” part of house painting holds water. Most of the painters I work with are pretty bad... However anyone who “contracts” work should be able to refuse any assignment. That is the essence of the ruling.
