Must suck as a player that would have wanted to go to be screwed over by your own management for a political stunt.

Reports say QB Nick Foles was one of the players scheduled to visit the White House..from what I’ve read about him, devout Christian & planned to become a Pastor if football didn’t work out for him. Has been quiet about politics & rightly so..I’m paraphrasing but remember him saying something similar to “I’m here to play football, not politics” when someone asked him about the kneeling fiasco.

If there were players who wanted to attend then they should have spoken up. These are grown men who are paid a lot of money to chase a ball around a field. They constantly refer to their toughness and courage in playing this game. If they truly are tough and courageous then it is time for them to stand up for what they believe. As long as they don’t, they are little better than the social justice warriors who seem to run things.
