“Is that the same “shall not be abridged” used in the 2nd Amendment?”

Close, but no cigar. The word is “infringed!” And it has no similarity to “abridged!!!!!!!!”

You are right,to an extent, but when used in law, it means to curtail, which is fairly close to infringe. (I looked it up).
