A former officer with the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency was arrested over the weekend for allegedly trying to spy on the United States for China, the Justice Department said on Monday.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation took Ron Rockwell Hansen, 58, into custody on Saturday while he was on his way to the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to get a connecting flight to China.
The department said he has been accused of trying to transmit national defense information to China and with receiving "hundreds of thousands of dollars" while acting illegally as an agent for the Chinese government.

Why hasn’t Stephan Halper been arrested for spying on the Trump Campaign for Hillary/obozo. Did you know he has completely disappeared? I am sure he is protective FIB protection from the Trump administration. Of course , Sessions doesnt care and is hiding as well.

The total stupidity of those fleeing the United States never fails to amaze me. There are two most important things in fleeing. The most important is cash in USA dollars, or any other good currency. The second is to do nothing electronic. Your credit cards are your enemy. You must have cash.
If one desires anonymity, never do anything ostentatious that would give arise to suspicion. If you have great assets outside of your country of hiding all transfers of such should be done by extreme methods of confidence. Third party transfers of anonymity is good. Cash from one hand to the next hand is even better if the other hand is trusted. Even better is to subsist on the local economy given your skill set. It would not be pleasant but you are then totally off the electronic grid which is better than dying.
The absolute best if one possess wealth is to purchase a new identity and passport. This can be done. Never speak your native tongue again unless it is to a known person. Pick a nice nation to live in that is relative corrupt. Never cross an international border by normal means. You can cross them by other means but it puts you at risk. I have done that in my youth long past gone, but that is another story concerning taxes and legal residency or not.
I worked in Venezuela for several months illegally. My company finally arranged a legal work permit from Dutch Aruba to Venezuela for me to work. The company arranged a private flight from Maracaibo to Aruba. It was but 120 miles. I could not leave Venezuela legally as I had over staid my tourist visa. I went to the airport to the private charter and walked right past customs control with the pilot. The bribe had already been paid. In Aruba I went to the Venezuelan Embassy and collected my work permit and residency. The bribe had already been paid. That evening the pilot flew us back to Maracaibo and we went through normal customs as legal residences of Venezuela.

Circa 1982 I was at the Tarja Airport in Bolivia. I was on the way to a job on the drilling rigs for oil in the South of Bolivia. My company sent me because I could speak Spanish but was a gringo that grew up the Mexican border and also lived in Venezuela. I saw a bunch of kids that were very European and some blonde and blue eyed. I speak Spanish and was confused why all these kids were speaking Spanish and not English or what ever their native language was.
When I got to the drilling rig I asked the Engineer in charge why? He did not speak English but did speak German and of course Spanish. He was educated at the University of Heidelberg in Germany. He explained that area of Southeast Bolivia and adjacent Paraguay and Argentina was a refuge for the Nazis after WWII. These kids and adults were children and grandchildren of Nazis that fled Germany at the end of WWII.
I asked him why he spoke German and went to school in Germany, he was genetically 100% Indian of Bolivia. His reply was very simple. His family was wealthy and sent him to the best schools in Bolivia which were German Schools. He then of course went to Heidelberg to University. Odd is it not, but that is reality.
I recommend several days of enhanced interrogation followed by a cigarette, a blindfold and a bullet.
