Thanks. We are looking at Montrose for a place to move. COPD might make me get down off this mountain (almost 10K feet here). Looks like decent home prices and climate there. Any suggestions about that side of the divide?
I think you would make a good choice with Montrose. Very conservative area.
FYI, the hospital doesn’t have a good reputation but most people go up to Grand Junction or down to Durango for care, anyway.
Yes, from what I understand, the home prices are decent. The climate is really good. Pretty mild winters.
There are a lot of smaller towns in the area you could check out. Good luck and best wishes.
PS: You probably know to avoid Durango. But we need all the good conservatives we can get.
