After reading further it seems the decision was based on free exercise grounds which was clearly emphasised, so those arguments may not be correct, there may be hope.
Here’s where the court is in error in their published opinions: In order to force the baker to sell what doesn’t exist (gay cake) the state must be able to force him to create one. That is clearly not within their power.
The bullet dodged here is that if the government has the power to force a business to sell (anything to anyone) then they also have the power to force you to buy from a particular business, whether you want to or not.
