We use to give generous trade deals to countries when we needed them to see growth for national security reasons. I think that's fine when it's temporary as long as it won't have a significant detrimental affect on U.S. jobs. The problem is we never change these agreements to make them more fair after these countries have achieved adequate growth and their importance to our national security has declined. I think there's a lot of republican involvement in the Russian scandal because they wanted to stop Trump when came to trade.
