You are precisely correct. This is exactly what Trump does.....he lets loose with these tweets and these phrases for the specific purpose of driving everybody apoplectic. It is an excellent tactic for getting the opposition and the sub Rosa opposition within the Republican party to reveal themselves, and it very rarely fails to work beautifully. It is a magnificent tactic. And while it is somewhat jarring in a way for those of us who support him, you simply cannot blame him for employing the tactic that unfailingly works.
