Employees who attended Starbucks' unconscious bias training on Tuesday said the seminar was all about police brutality
Philadelphia, PA Employees of color who attended the highly-publicized unconscious bias training for Starbucks employees on Tuesday have reported it was more of a lesson on police brutality than anything else.
Starbucks closed 8,000 stores for several hours on May 30 to facilitate seminars for its employees after the coffee shop was at the forefront of a racial controversy in April. It felt like we were off task the entire time because we didnt reflect on the situation itself, a black 18-year-old Starbucks employee called Tina told Philadelphia Magazine.
The training materials focused a lot on police brutality, which had nothing to do with the incident that happened, Tina said.

WUT?! Butt, butt, butt...... There ceo is SOOOOOO in touch with reality.

When corporations allow SJW’s to run their businesses, financial decline will result.
We don’t take our money to Starbuck’s, which supports the Leftist agenda. And the coffee is nasty.
wow.
Actually when I want to pay for a cup of coffee in the fall I find Royal Farms Pumpkin Spice is just as good if not better then Starbucks and bucks cheaper too
Ten years ago...McDonalds made marginal coffee and tea. They’ve vastly improved their offerings, and it’s probably half-price over what Starbucks offers. I think their mega-sized ice tea still runs around $1.20 while you’d pay $3.50 for the same sized ice tea at Starbucks.
99 cents a cup @ Cumberland Farms & no lecture:)
Advice please. How does one BOYCOTT a place like Starbucks when one has NEVER, EVER so much as stepped inside one?
Am I obligated to go in ONCE, then say, “never again”?

It would be a waste of time and money. Simply never set foot in the place.
yup and yup...
Bandaids are racist

I read that the proper way to order plain black coffee in Starbuck’s is “Plain, no dairy”. “I’ll take mine black” is not acceptable.
Yep. A cup of (good) coffee is a buck — “senior” coffee is $0.65! Best of all, they have a drive-through so I don’t have to mingle with the hoi poi, LOL!
Just use their restroom every chance you get. Especially for those “epic” performances.
I started drinking coffee in the Army so I’m not too picky. The stuff I make at home (which tastes like real coffee) is all I need.
I never go, but I do have a 25 dollar gift certificate. OK, I will go now, just to make them give me free stuff.
