Bedouins have thrived under Israeli rule, and that’s partly the problem. Their population has grown to the point where they are becoming urbanized and their former nomadic lifestyle is impracticable. The compassionate thing to do would be an airlift to the Sahara within shouting distance of an oasis or two, sheep, camels and all.
