FBI Spy Stefan Halper’s Media Contacts Could Pose A Problem, Retired FBI Officials Say
The Daily Caller ^ | 05/31/2018 | Chuck Ross

Posted on 05/31/2018 1:52:58 PM PDT by detective

FBI spy Stefan Halper interacted with the media multiple times, according to a Cambridge researcher

Former senior FBI officials said the interactions could be a cause for concern for the FBI, one calling them “highly irregular”

Halper was reportedly an anonymous source on reports surrounding allegations about Michael Flynn’s relations with a Russian national

While working as a spy for the FBI, Stefan Halper interacted on multiple occasions with the media, both on the record and, according to a University of Cambridge researcher, as an anonymous background source.

“Halper was entrapping low level Trump people. Halper also dishonestly attempted to join the Trump campaign in order to infiltrate it. Halper also leaked false information to the media as an anonymous source.”

Yes, I believe my fellow citizen Trey Gowdy, told me I should expect that from my FBI. That right Trey?

“He will have a lot of EXPLAINING to do.”

But first you’ll need to locate him. If he’s truly dishonored himself, he may simply, disappear himself....

I, for one, would love to hear Halper’s thoughts on all of these matters. His absence proves he’s a scoundrel.

“Congress, even if they did “go after him” doesn’t have the power to do anything about it.

Anyone paying the slightest bit of attention to what has been happening the last year+ would know that.”

****************
First off, congress is not powerless. Congress has the power and the resources to investigate and expose. As George Mason said, Members of Congress “are not only Legislators but they possess inquisitorial powers”. This is a part of our system of checks and balances. Moreover, the House has subpoena power and contempt power, and can cite for perjury. In fact, through a contempt citation the House can turn the matter over to a U.S. attorney in DC to bring the matter before a grand jury for action.

The point is, right now we need facts. Congress has the power to lay the foundation for further discovery and action by the executive branch. But first we need facts and the citizens of this country need to see and hear what went on.
Do you think the Democrats in congress would be standing idly by if their president had been the target of political espionage by federal agencies? No, there would be wall-to-wall investigations and endless hearings.

As FReeper ‘cradle of freedom’ said in this thread “You notice how the democrats circle the wagons behind anyone of them who is in trouble.”

Congress could in fact do many things. The Republican controlled congress is not powerless; it is gutless.

Secondly, it always amuses me when people drag out the thoughtless and instinctive refrain that “anyone paying attention would know that.” Someone else will probably echo that same tired line on another thread today. LOL

There is evidence that the MSM is guilty of Obstruction of Justice.

And election laws for openly campaigning for the Left - if they jailed Dinesh for this they should jail the msm.

“Congress could in fact do many things. The Republican controlled congress is not powerless; it is gutless.”

_______________

Spot-on.

Anyone paying the slightest bit of attention to what has been happening the last quarter century would know that.

:)

My observation: The Awans were too clueless to have perpetrated what they did on their own. Too many coincidences, including that the Republicans were never targeted (that we know of). Odd reactions out of the Repubs (e.g. Gowdy) beg obvious questions as to who is pulling strings and how/why.

The big problem here is the fact that the “game” is in extra innings in the absence of the QB, so-to-speak, raising what should be obvious questions on whose playbook & direction “they” are following.

There are some who joke about “deep state” and others who deride that assertion as ‘conspiracy theory’, but the troubling “echoes” of this scandal in the absence of the one person in the Oval Office many believed to have been the QB govern this as the greatest Constitutional challenge the country has ever faced. Given the intelligence origins and distinct trail of crumbs and shadows of intelligence operations, facts will not be forthcoming.

Until the word “coup” is seriously-considered by those in Congress, nothing in this investigation is being taken seriously and nothing will ever be resolved, judicially...without regards to guts or low-hanging fruit.

This was a conspiracy of the first-order to first usurp the electoral process and then unseat a sitting President.

But no one is asking the right questions and, apparently, there are many who have been coerced (particularly given the Gowdy example of-late, a telling sign).

Personally, I don’t fault Gowdy. I think he was sending us all a message that for many here that message went right over the head:

“They got to me and you could be next.”

or,

“The Constitution is DEAD unless you do something about it because they’ve got me by the low-hanging fruit.”

The corollary being a distinct warning to Nunes & others, meaning...in all likelihood...this “investigation” will be hung on a convenient scapegoat sometime in the coming weeks or we will have something FAR worse to take the public’s attention off of the investigation as it is quietly wrapped up.

The latter has me deeply troubled...

Appreciated your cogent thoughts, most especially that “This was a conspiracy of the first-order to first usurp the electoral process and then unseat a sitting President.”

THAT is exactly what it was, and probably still is.

I don’t doubt for a second that the Deep State is still pursuing its nefarious and subversive objectives. They are not going to wither away just because Trump has outed them.

It would not surprise me one bit to find out that the cabal is intact and continuing their same dirty tricks and surveillance operations against anyone who they perceive to be in opposition to their agenda. Trey Gowdy probably found out the hard way. These people must be crushed.

Mifsud and Papadop may be the bulk of the redacted material (e.g. in the Schiff memo) to "corroborate" the collusion allegations. That and Halper who was redacted since the FBI spying was secret or top secret. Mifsud contacted Papadop for reasons that are very murky, but seem to be independent of the Steele effort.

The swamp isn’t just in Washington, it extends to far spread areas such as New York, Hollywood and many cities and states. See how the tv networks and Hollywood all attack Trump like hundreds of jackals. I don’t know what all the connections are about but there must be many.

Take Harvey Weinstein for instance, he was a big giver to the Democrats. Maybe to keep the powerful politicians and judges on his side just in case. With his sexual predator inclinations he would need political protection from the top rings of politics. It wouldn’t be surprising if Weinstein was guilty of some money crimes as well. Hollywood is know for its ‘creative financing’. I wonder how many donors and dear friends of the Democrats and probably Republicans are guilty of thievery and other crimes. You scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours.

Isn’t Halper an American though living in England? He can be forced to come to the US and testify, can’t he?

***************

The connection is usually money. Think grants, government contracts (there’s a lot there that people don’t know), subsidies for industries, tax issues, etc. But its also help with favorable legislation, the potential for legal/investigative cover, and of course greasing the skids for anything else that you want. The potential list of self-serving reasons why the swamp just isn’t in Washington is endless.

Here’s my problem: “Deep state” is too vague. We could as easily call it SPECTRE. Even with Cosa Nostra & Cartel it usually comes back to one person.

The fact that VJ has been inserted into 0bama’s DC Kalorama home is concerning, as is the founding of National Security Action organization by the likes of Ben Rhodes and Jake Sullivan. From my window there is ample evidence that the Clintoons were set up & destroyed.

The question being, What man wields that sort of power even after leaving Washington, one who is untouchable?

The answer, my dear Watson, is self-evident and deeply-disturbing (though admittedly just IMHO): I believe that he pulled a double-coup...the other being the unseating of the Clintons from their seat of power and, in the process, both discrediting them both and destroying their organization. Cui bono? Certainly not the Russians. Trump? I have a logical argument which makes lib points crumble on this being a Trump conspiracy (there’s a reason the media’s gone silent). There’s a vast pool of cash just waiting for the next person to tap it. Rhodes/Sullivan’s front company NSA is well-placed to circumvent Podesta’s money laundering network. But that’s just me chewing the fat. Btw, NSA is a 501(c)(4) advocacy group.

It could very well be true that the Russians have dirt on Trump, including “golden showers”, but that doesn’t change what “they” did to circumvent our democracy and violate the Constitution in the name of what I believe to be one man...possibly orchestrated in entirety by one woman. The overarching question being, Is he and/or she compelled to answer to anyone else?
