I really like the Blogovich pardon concept ...
A commutation of sentence, not a pardon.
Blagojevich is a real piece of.... umm... "work" (and so is his wife), but I could see a commutation of sentence in this case though not a pardon. When the Obama machine made sure Blago got tossed into the slammer in a spectacularly public way, they enjoyed it a bit too much.
The artical says commutation for Blago. As much as I like to see corrupt politicians go to prison for their crimes, I do think the Blago was over-sentenced for what he did.
