Conservatives on Twitter lashed out following the swift cancellation of Roseanne Barr's hit ABC program after here racist tweet, citing a double-standard in entertainment for those who are conservative or support President Trump.
The right-leaning critics took particular aim at ESPN’s decision to hire Keith Olbermann and MSNBC’s continued employment of Joy Reid. Both have made provocative comments in the past.
ABC canceled Barr’s show after she wrote a tweet that referred to former Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett as a product of the “The Planet of the Apes” and “the Muslim Brotherhood.”
Olbermann was recently hired by ESPN for the sixth time, signing a new deal earlier this month with the Disney-owned network, which also owns ABC.
Some conservatives on Twitter quickly pointed to Olbermann calling President Trump a Nazi on multiple occasions on social media.

Maybe she wanted off the show for whatever reason, who knows?? And instead of breaking contract got the show cancelled. Although how she’d know that little comment would be enough to do it I don’t know.

Sometimes people decide to ‘test’ the limits even if it puts themselves or others in danger of loss or compromising situations that will affect many. Others are just fools.
I don’t know more about the woman except her form of humor is well beyond my taste. So I never watched before or recently. But isn’t it truly stunning that with all the critical going ons in the world our news, televisions and computers is fast becoming wall to wall scandals and smutt!

I think you’re right ... IF she wants to pursue it. (And maybe she does. Maybe that was the plan all along.) Hundreds of precedents have been set in the past where libs have kept their jobs after making dreadful un-PC statements.

I just read on FreeRepublic that the writers wanted to take the show left next season, and have Roseanne see the errors in her thinking. If true, Disney must be owned by Satanists.
I’ve heard some pretty negative things about Disney. It surely isn’t the same brand as when Walt was running the show.
