How does he have standing. As an Iowa State student, he certainly has an ID, therefore he cannot have been inconvenienced except for his negligence to bring his ID card to the polling place.

He may indeed have a student I.D. but is he from Iowa, out of state or from another country ?
If he’s not registered to vote at Ames, he shouldn’t be allowed to vote.
