The only ‘privilege’ I have been exposed to is black privilege.
They commit crimes, don’t get arrested, loot, attack police, nothing happens.
They get preferential treatment and grades (graduate from college with middle school writing skills) and job access (affirmative action hiring)
The sad thing is that the above actually hurts them, especially black kids at school, by lowering the bar for them they can’t reach the same achievements as the rest of the population.
It all looks like and smells like racism to me.
And when in a private business, policy’s and laws against loitering, trespassing, and disorderly condct only apply to non blacks.
That is a special privilege in my book.
We had two really great black SF NCO’s in Vietnam in my unit out of 50-70 or so NCO’s and both ran recon. Both were SFC’s. One was wounded badly on an OP, a cross border OP and he ordered his 11 assistant to “LEAVE HIM.” The white SGT did not. I ended up in the same hospital with him and he had been stitched with AK 7.62 mm rounds from arm and shoulder to the same on the other side. I used to watch his wife try to feed him. The man was a hero in my book. The other asked me to get him away from a certain officer in recon. I went to our LTC for him. It was done. That was how one earned respect in Special Forces by doing your job and the NCO’s damn sure knew which officers were to be trusted. The same would work today without this- I am owed-you are guilty BS.
