I maintain that a lot of drugs that have hazards — maybe even the dreaded Ambien — are fine when used with proper medical supervision. And there’s the rub. Today’s near mechanized healthcare systems aren’t conducive to yesteryear’s kind of understandings between doctors and patients. It’s like the Rx is a bar of soap to wash the doctor’s hands of the patient.

I agree....theses drugs are great but doctors tend to prescribe them and not monitor them....anything playing with brain function needs to be monitored by a psychiatrist closely.
