Capitol Hill holds its breath as inspector general report on FBI's probe of Hillary Clinton's email scandal is expected in less than a week

IG Michael Horowitz is set to testify before two Senate committees

Senate Judiciary probe is on 'examining' the IG's report

Horowitz has spent months investigating the FBI's handling of election probes

The testimony likely indicates his report will be completed by then

House Republicans girding to interview FBI officials who handled Clinton email probe

A highly anticipated report by the Justice Department's Inspector General could be made public within days, as a pair of congressional panels prepare for hearings on how the FBI handled the Hillary Clinton probe.

The Senate Judiciary on Tuesday gave notice that on June 5, it will hold a hearing titled: 'Examining the Inspector General’s First Report on Justice Department Decisions Regarding the 2016 Presidential Election.'

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz is expected to testify, Fox News reported.

Horowitz has completed his draft report and has already solicited comment from the FBI and the Justice Department.

The hearings would seem to imply that the final report would be scheduled for release by then.

Even in its uncompleted form, the report already resulted in a criminal referral for former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who was fired just before his planned retirement following a finding he leaked information to the Wall Street Journal.

The probe examines the FBI's handling of Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server while she was secretary of state.

The House Oversight Committee also plans to bring in Horowitz.

Horowitz has spent a year culling through documents and interviewing officials as he examines the FBI's unusual handling of the case.

I’m not expecting much but whitewash of a new shade.
This same Inspector General found nothing criminal about running guns to Mexican cartels.

Sessions is Mueller’s Star witness.

75% of Mueller’s Questions revolve around his conversations with Sessions.

Been disappointed too many times recently to think anything will come out of this.

Instead of "holding its breath," Capitol Hill should be going after those whose leaks, lies and perjured congressional testimony have created, covered up and perpetuated this Russian-Collusion fraud. Start with James Clapper who, now as an official CNN paid fraudster, is currently the most active propagandist for the Deep-State.

CLAPPER'S TESTIMONY ON NSA SPYING ON AMERICANS

1) Clapper’s perjury when asked about NSA spying: YouTube

2) Clapper’s lie about that perjury: YouTube

The question was unambiguously about all NSA data collection and Clapper could not have honestly mistaken the question to be about something else:

Senator Wyden: ”Give me a yes or no answer to the question: Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?”

Clapper: ”No sir. Not wittingly. There are case where they could inadvertently, perhaps collect, but not wittingly.”

THE “CLAPPER DEFENSE” FOR PERJURY

Clapper's later explanation could not have been a more transparent lie:

Clapper on The View: "He was asking me about one {surveillance program} and I was thinking about another."

I would not recommend you get too exited about this. I suspect it will be heavily redacted. And if it had anything actionable, rosenwiesel and meuller would not be going full steam ahead as they currently are.

75% of Mueller’s Questions revolve around his conversations with Sessions.

Anything after Trump was in office is covered by executive privilege. But sessions has directly stabbed Trump in the back here. sessions is a modern day john wilkes booth.

The article is incorrect about one point: “the report already resulted in a criminal referral for former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe”

The public release of that referral was part of the IG’s earlier, and much smaller report.

The investigation into Hillary’s secret email server, and mishandling of classified info, is the subject of this next IG Report.

According to DoJ procedures, criminal referrals by the IG should have been sent to prosecutors (led by Huber) as they were discovered. The publication of the report should be the first public revelation of criminal referrals on this matter - but criminal investigations should already be well underway from any such referrals.

One obvious possible outcome, if the email investigation was shut down inappropriately, is to open an new investigation into Hillary’s email server - and its contents (likely wholesale corruption, possibly treason).

Lol.

Yep Jim Comey can document serious breaches against Hillary, but then draw a conclusion that “no reasonable “ prosecutor would take such a case, or words to that effect.

Yep he didn’t want to end up in Ft. Marcy Park, so he said the irregularities with Hillary didn’t add up to anything which should be prosecuted. Nice song and dance there.
