Camera Hogg is such a douche-nozzle. What a joke.
David Hogg handed his first major defeat.
He’s on the run - when you push back against tyrants, they developing grudging respect for their opponents.
Hogg has has his fifteen minutes of fame. Its time to move on.
Publix ticked off a lot of customers by allowing the little toerags into the store in the first place, and then by allowing them to impede shoppers when they should have been tazed, cuffed, and hauled off.
I will be frequenting Winn Dixie in the weeks and months ahead.
Who is paying this hogg pig?
publix ‘should say’ “Well since you are going to try to bully us into paying a ransom, We’re announcing today that we will again be giving donations to NRA supporting senators since you are going to boycott us and try to destroy our business anyways
Well - Publix did a partial cave and was rewarded by them doing the “die in” anyway.....Publix is Clinton/Bush/Obama and Hogg is North Korea....
Good for Publix .... Good for CEO Todd Jones.
This is a shake down.
Lock up the little punk.
So Media Hogg is profiting from the tragedy at his high school and gets away with it? This punk has an agent, a book deal and in the near future a movie deal. Making money from the deaths of your classmates is ok as long as you are a left wing lunatic.
By actually saying he wants a mill, he has moved to blackmail and should be prosecuted.
When jessie jackson et al blackmail businesses, they are careful not to actually ask for $, especially publicly. They just harass until a donation is made.
Good gosh.
I cannot believe that people running an organization like Publix do not understand that caving and apologizing only invites more caving and apologizing.
Trump seems to understand this quite well...Thank goodness.
Publix where shopping is a pleasure, unless there’s a die in at their stores... It didn’t happen here at my local Publix...
Extortion on behalf of another is still extortion. U.S. v. Margiotta (1982) 668 Fed.2d 108:
https://openjurist.org/688/f2d/108
Mr. Hogg seems to be committing a RICO violation (18 U.S.C. 1961, et seq.) as well as extortion (18 U.S.C. 1951).
If it’s down to the cash, it’s open extortion. Hogg may be stupid enough to call their bluff but his handlers aren’t. This “youth movement” is carefully choreographed by CNN and professional protesters, and they don’t want to lose their investment.
This is confusing - does the writer think Hogg was killed? If not, who is the father they mention?
“”Publix CEO Todd Jones on Tuesday told the father of a Parkland, Florida student killed in the February 14 massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that the Florida-based supermarket chain would not be making a donation to the schools student fund””
Someone really has to tell this utter tool that his fifteen minutes are over.
Being a massively silly egomaniac will not get you very far in life, kid, and even that only as a teenager.
