Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz is slated to testify before congressional committees next month, presumably after the release of his long-awaited report on the FBI's Hillary Clinton investigation during the 2016 presidential campaign, Fox News has learned.
Both the Senate Judiciary Committee and the House Oversight Committee are preparing to have Horowitz appear before them in early June, according to a congressional source.
On Tuesday, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said his committee would hold a hearing titled “Examining the Inspector General’s First Report on Justice Department Decisions Regarding the 2016 Presidential Election” on June 5.
In June, House Republicans also plan to interview three FBI officials linked to the agency’s handling of the Clinton email probe, part of an ongoing joint investigation by the House Judiciary and Oversight and Government Reform committees.

Comey and the rest of the crew are just fine so long as compromises Trey Gowdy and the rest of the congressional GOP buffoons are running cover.
It cannot be forgotten the FBI never got Hillary or the others involved computers or servers to see if they were really hacked. Likely Comey would have lied about it anyway, but still, how could that be considered a serious investigation without the main evidence? Since when does the FBI just take the word of an outside source? Also, Comey drafting a letter of Hillary not being charged with anything before interviewing her, and not putting her under oath or even taping the conversation, speaks volumes of how much this investigation was worth.
Given congressional disposition for theater rather than action, does it make much difference who's in power. The stupid party is in power now and there have been no consequences for any of this.

Yes they did. It was a humiliating spectacle for Nunes. For Gowdy it was par for the course.
Nunes has buckled? I know Gowdy is a grade A P-O-S but I think Nunes may be still fighting the good fight. At least i hope so since so few are.
After the big build-up it turns out the two cheap suits saw nothing:

If the FBI corruption isn’t nipped in the bud thru reorganization if not outright abolishment of the agency, the FBI will move that much closer to having the power of life and death over politicians similar to Ancient Rome’s Praetorian Guard.
Gowdy definitely showed his colors, but Nunes has NOT buckled in any way.
