Bill Mayer used to be on ABC. He had his show Politically Incorrect cancelled for his comment that the 9/11 hijackers were not cowards. I would watch it when Barbara Olson was on. She died when her plane flew into the Pentagon on 9/11 on her way for an appearance on his show. He gave her a tribute and left her empty chair on the set.
Too much irony to keep track of, but the loss of his show led to...Jimmy Kimmel.
He also called Sarah Palin vile names.
He thought the 9/11 terrorists were brave. That did get him kicked off ABC. That is why he is on HBO.
