I suppose you got to say their famous for their bad choices.. When Moses led them out of Egypt they saw the wonders of God with their own eyes and STILL made all the wrong choices... Go figure.....

Not necessarily bad choices, the vast majority of Jews honored and were loyal to G-d for thousands of years up until what is called the “Enlightenment” where Jews began to seriously assimilate.
