Noblesville Mayor John Ditslear considers himself “a Second Amendment guy, but I also know and respect guns, and if you’ve got young children in the house…any and all guns should be locked up and not accessible to kids, period.”

That warning was on the mayor’s mind this past Saturday, 24 hours after the Noblesville West Middle School shooting, when he realized Hoosier Armory was having its grand opening at 10th and Logan streets just a block off the city’s downtown square, complete with a tent to encourage registration and membership in the NRA.

Or blaming that 2 ft section of Fence Post that was used to beat my child to death. Or those shoelaces from a 8 yr old that was used to strangle her unconscious, after she was beat, RAPED, then strangled with her own shoelaces, tied in a dirty blanket, and thrown off a dock to drown. Perp still sits on Death Row, had 2 jury trials, still in State appeals since 1990.

I have both Grands and Great Grands, my guns go up when the smallest are around. Rest know better, and have been taught respect for guns, and target shoot too. My CCW gun goes on my hip, not in a purse.
