I am fond of the memory of my childhood, youth and young adulthood when I met my husband who came to Germany during the Berlin Crisis with his company from Ft Knox, Kentucky.

I do not want to go back to Germany, anymore because so much has changed.

My parents are gone for many years. My father wanted to visit us after he retired from his job as bookkeeper from the brewery in my hometown. Unfortunately he died in the hospital of my hometown (February 5, 1975) He had the flu there were no flu shots at that period. We were stationed at Fort Riley, KY.
