The author is delusional. Halper was a paid informant and that was legal. Of course the whole spying operation was highly unethical, not to mention imprudent. But the central figures approving the operation will skate. Nobody is going to go to jail for this, although there may be some reprimands in the best case. The best case is that the Dems will agree to a commission to study the operation and recommend changes to the law. The worst and more likely case is that they will double down with the stonewalling under media cover and try to impeach their way out of it.

From all appearances, you would appear to be right. Sessions looks like just another, inept, do-nothing politician with no stomach for the tough stuff. Given how Hillary and Co. have restarted the Clinton foundation, it looks like they’re not all that worried about heads rolling. In all probability, the swamp is still running DOJ at the moment and the idea of consequence is just that - an idea.
I am concerned that they have had too much time to cover their tracks bury evidence and coordinate their stories.

It would not surprise me one bit to find out that they resumed eavesdropping on Sharyl Attkisson who has recently produced a Spygate timeline that has to be making the cabal nervous.
The only way to restore any semblance of integrity back into these agencies is to CLEAN HOUSE. Remove the entire leadership layer. Until that happens, the corruption won’t end; it will just hide in the shadows.
sad but I have no confidence that we will see a perp walk especially the big fish. We will see them come back with a vengeance in 7 or so years this will be the second American revolution because we will have no other alternative
