Check who owns CITGO
Fifty percent of Citgo was sold to Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA) in 1986, which acquired the remainder in 1990, resulting in the current ownership structure.

Citgo, Venezuela’s state-owned oil company, is again giving money to rural Alaskans so they can buy heating oil. Citgo, which first donated money to Alaska villages in 2006, will give about $450 per household to 15,268 households in 173 different villages this year.
Residents of rural Alaska villages often struggle financially, and energy costs are a large part of their burden. The total value of Citgo’s grant to Alaska villagers is about $7 million.
Venezuela’s generosity to Alaskans comes at a lean time for the leftist country.
The screed about “racist America” is just a bonus....
