Don’t you think they should show respect to the country and the taxpayers for funding their team? Regardless of the reason it’s still disrespectful.
If your university accepts federal money, I don’t care what is usually done. Get your ass out on the field, remove your helmet or headset and show some respect to the country, or return the taxpayer’s money, with interest.
