I’m sure you didn’t mean for that to sound so arrogant, right?

Generally Womans Studies have focused on women’s roles in ‘economic’ and ‘political’ institutions, and they also analyzed women’s roles in history, literature and equality movements..additionally emphasizing cross-cultural perspectives and the socialization of women.....and we know that Feminist activism during the 60s and 70s encouraged the development of Women’s Studies.

Therefore many young female students today are going to naturally find this of interest in the world they will be going into. Which is not naivete as you stated rather an interest to enlarge ones understanding of what women face.

Gender studies on the other hand pointed to the relationship between both men and women, and also their relationships with society as a whole. Unfortunately several colleges now piggyback the mechanisms of gender and sexuality and how they operate in society of ‘all’ those in this twisted generation.

The author...if you check the thread relating to her...would explain to you further.

No, I did not. I admire her for checking it out, and agree with your characterization of Women’s Studies. Sad that the discipline has been so distorted.
