It’s always the Democrats that get us into war, the Republicans that are stuck with the mess.

Bullscheiss! We have and have had contingency plans for every eventuality. It is a necessity of military planning. There is surely a plan on file to deal with an invasion from or of Mars.

Notice how news outlets never publish the info leaked to the or obtained legally in full... only in excerpts usually not even complete sentences?
There’s the old Special Forces line about “Be polite. Be professional. But have a plan to kill everyone you meet.” Note that it doesn’t say you are obligated to carry out every plan you can concoct, because you can concoct a LOT of plans from the sensible to the risky or even insane. It’s about being prepared to deal with every contingency or mission, even godawful ones, with a choice of actions.
Of course with the Kennedys
there’s always the chance of them asking people to undertake unethical choices...

We didnt previously celebrate Christmas, because its neither a Muslim nor a Bosnian holiday, but they wanted us to feel included...We dont complain anymore about the...Bosnian government; we gush instead about my internship at the White House, in a government that actually functions. We dont talk about the elite Yugoslav leaders who refused to listen to their people; we talk instead about how President Obama reads letters from little kids and refugees...
It's what makes her a propagandist, and conspiracy theories from records taken out of context are a favorite vehicle for conspiracy theories in the more evil parts of the world. Everything is a plot and an intrigue in such dark places.
If I were into conspiracy theories, I would now say that all who agree with her on anything are associated with her and thereby politically aligned with her and up to insidious no-good. But since I'm not into conspiracy theories, it's obvious that the problem is one of mere ignorance with a little dash of conspiracy theory narcissism.

There’s no American plot or motive to conquer Russia. In light of recent actions and statements from Russian leaders, we’re only preparing to defend our country if necessary.

So they only ‘wanted’ to plan. This is of interest?
‘Wanting to plan’ is fantasizing.
