A couple of nights ago on one of the religion channels a saw a movie about the near future in which everyone is required to have "the mark of the beast," and one of the characteristics of that society is that monogamy is banned and everyone is REQUIRED to be multi-sexual.

At first glance this might seem like just an overblown scare-movie, kind of a right-wing version of "The Handmaid's Tale," but we do seem to be heading in that direction.

Way back in the 50's, a leftist sexologist wrote a book called something like "The Coming of Compulsory Sexual Morality," in which he advocated/predicted that libertine sexual mores would one day become compulsory on the grounds of mental, emotional, and physical health.
