You are probably not far off. The CEO was the head of Taco Bell until he took the job with Chipolte earlier this year. Guess where Taco Bell HQ is located? Irvine, which is next to Newport Beach.

The headquarters of Taco Bell and Del Taco are about five miles from each other.

Newport Beach is a wonderful place to live if you’re at the CEO level. For worker bees, not so much. And moving a company costs a ton of money. I wonder why the BOD is permitting this.
