President Obama helped debut the new presidential twitter account yesterday. In the hours following its birth the account gained more than a million followers. One of those followers was not and likely never will be the @meninist account.
Meninist, a twitter account that presumably allies itself with the men’s’ rights movement, was blocked by the official POTUS account. This means that the Meninist, which follows no accounts, cannot follow @POTUS, nor can it see the account’s tweets.
Boom! That’s how you win Twitter.

You don’t have to have a Twitter account to see someone’s tweets. I never have (nor ever will have) one, but I read a few folks tweets on a daily basis (Scott Adams for example).
The only thing the “blocked” users cannot do is harrass whoever blocked them. I’d say that is a fundamental right.
Since they can simply log off their account and then can read (but not comment on) anyone’s tweets, no “First Amendment Rights” are infringed if the POTUS blocks them.
This Federal Judge is wrong just based on that fact....
But did you notice that she specifically did NOT order POTUS to reinstate the accounts he blocked? That’s right. My guess is that she didn’t want to rumble (in the public arena) with POTUS ... at least that part of her opinion makes sense ...
The only way they could get Zerobama to use a computer was to give him a mouse shaped like Reggie Love’s penis...
