In 2014, Seattle voters approved a $58 million levy allowing low-income kids to go to preschool for free.
Since 2015, the city says the program has allowed affordable or free preschool to 850 families.

3 school years.. that’s $22,745 per child per year for freaking preschool. And now they want more...

The City of Seattle is building dedicated bike lanes downtown. They would rather have no cars downtown. The original estimated cost was $860,000 per mile. The cost is now $12,000,000 per mile for one of the routes!

Thanks for putting the math to this. Think of the hourly rate, subtracting “nap time”. Some good money in preschool programs, it seems.

Preschool is a fancy word for free day care so Latrina to get with every Devontre, Julio and Dick to make more preschool kids.
