President Trump demanded "total transparency" Wednesday ahead of a meeting between top law enforcement officials and congressional Republicans demanding Russia probe documents.
"They'll all be in the room tomorrow. We'll see what happens. I want total transparency," Trump said on the South Lawn of the White House. "You have to have transparency."
On Monday, Trump tasked chief of staff John Kelly with organizing a meeting between FBI, Justice Department, and intelligence community representatives to provide congressional Republicans documents on an FBI informant linked to the Trump campaign.

That is the exact word for it. Mueller finally had to appear before a judge who considered his actions from a legal perspective—Ellis. And as Ellis himself noted, even if he dismisses the suit it would be a meaningless ruling. Mueller would just take the same case to a different jurisdiction.
I believe Mark Levin 100% on this. But what can anyone do? Sessions has been a weak and passive AG and the Deep State is running wild. Without an assertive AG to keep the flaming Leftists in the DOJ in line, they’re on a tear. The gap in the two-tiered justice system will only grow wider until we get an AG who is willing and able to lay down the law.
It would help if the judge whacks Mueller with, how do you day Hell no! in latin?
Do you really think it would help? Mueller has a ghoulish track record. He spent 10 years ‘investigating,’ the anthrax attack. The first innocent man he tried to pin it on survived but the second one ended up committing suicide.
Mueller is just relentless, but not in a good way. He’s relentless about destroying people.
If he tries that on a judge he is asking for trouble.
From your lips. Mueller has gotten away with his dirty cop routine for a long time. Hopefully he’s finally going to meet his match.
Caputo says if FBI agents want to testify but don’t have a subpoena his foundation will pay their legal fees. I would have found out how many such witnesses there are before making such an offer.
‘I would have found out how many such witnesses there are before making such an offer.’
#MeToo.
Though it sounds as if Caputo is just very serious about getting the truth out. Good for him.
Also if they testified without a subpoena, the FBI could tell them that if they testified, they would be deemed “troublemakers,” while with a subpoena they obviously would be compelled to testify.
Good point. Let’s hope the subpoenaes are forthcoming. We need a game-changer, and the sooner the better.
Haven’t heard a whisper about these two meetings today? Odd.
Perhaps but you are talking about fruit from the poisoned roots of a legal tree...the judge could rule on that basis and send everyone packing!
