It drives me nuts when they call our great country America instead of the United States of America.
Not a mistake by the pols. They purposely call us a democracy, because it mentally links to Democrat, makes Democrat sound more American than republic (whayever THAT means, right, millenials?).
Agree about USA. And, the United Stars ARE, not IS, a republic.
So much American Government 101 not taught anymore, thanks to our government pubic ed ‘teachers’. THAT drives me crazy!
