As an example, no child born in the US to a Mexican citizen parent can be natural born, because Mexico is a jus sanguinis country and they claim that child as their citizen no matter where they’re born. They even encourage these US-born Mexican citizens to vote in Mexican elections and to act in a manner favorable to Mexico while in the US.
