President Donald Trump demanded on Monday that China lock down its border with North Korea until he can cut a nuclear deal with North Korean President Kim Jong-Un.
The deal-making president wants an denuclearization arrangement with Kim signed on the dotted line and he needs the economic might of China to help make that happen.
China is the rogue state's largest trading partner with about 90 percent of North Korea's trade taking place with the Chinese. An economic chokehold from the Chinese is a key component in getting Kim's cooperation in any deal with the Americans.

I don’t often agree with Graham, but in this case, he has it nailed. If we were not to follow through here, Trump’s Presidency would die and the world would shame him.
The Chinese don’t have the military stuff to challenge us, which is all the more reason why they will likely help out. They see Trump as one who can, with sanctions, make or break their economy. Notice how Trump is dangling the tariffs on steel and aluminum and this business of kicking GTZ out of our country. He has all parties by the short hairs, and they know it. And he’s done the same thing with Iran and the Euroweenies. They are probably easier, because they are so feckless and stupid!
