Hoo boy.
Nice she has such a uniquely Google-able name.
So, that’s why so many of those movie and TV celebrities are so stupid.
I was wondering what caused it.
The video left me speechless.
The office wasn't equipped to handle the medical emergency, so they called 911.
Paramedics arrived and re-started her heart, then had to wait while Dr. Boutte sutured the patient's incisions.
Then, when that was done, they found out they couldn't fit the stretcher in the elevator, so they had to carry the patient downstairs. From the looks of her, the patient probably weighs at least 220 lb.
She survived the trip to the hospital, but she had permanent brain damage as a result of cerebral oxygen starvation.
She was reported by another physician to Georgia's medical licensing board in 2016, but she continues to practice, calling herself "Atlanta's leading cosmetic surgeon."
She spells her name with an accent — Boutté — bootay!
She touts her abilities on YouTube:

He doesn't do noses, boobs (except for cancer patients) or any "cosmetic" stuff.
My beloved
Stars get the sh*ttiest treatment.
I was an intern and a resident in Manhattan, and I saw it all the time.
.
Trauma surgery is one thing, but elective surgery is insanity!
.
BTW, a thread a couple of days about Wilderstein declaring bankruptcy 19 years after getting a 2.5 billion (?) divorce settlement was pulled. I wonder why. There didn't seem anything controversial about it.
Proverbs 16:18
Maybe the patient is not certifiably blond.
Surgery always carries a risk. Botox especially has been known to mess people up badly.
Also from the other comments from folks apparently she was pretty overweight, and being under anesthesia when you are realy fat is very, very dangerous because its harder to find and maintain a proper dose. I am guesing since she was oxygen starved they will be looking hard at the anesthesiologist’s records.
Did the patient go to her PCP for a pre-op screening?
That’s what I had to do when I last had surgery
He was targeting his liposuction procedures to "women of color", and at least one died, and more were subjected to "practices akin to torture".
After he lost his license, he got the munchies one night, and wandered into an inter-gang shootout at the eatery, and didn't survive the one or more rounds he caught in the crossfire.
Oh, the cost of vanity.
Affirmative Action PhD, I’m thinking.
Through an attorney, Boutte declined an interview. Her website says she has over 100,000 satisfied patients and the site is loaded with testimonials from patients.
The site describes her Premiére Aesthetic Center as a state-of-the-art building where patients can pick from a huge buffet of services, including Brazilian butt lifts, tummy tucks and liposuction.
Boutte also advertises that she is board certified in both surgery and dermatology.
The AJC found, though, that while she is a board-certified dermatologist, she is not a board-certified plastic surgeon or general surgeon.
And Bouttes surgery suite was not an accredited operating room or licensed surgery center. During Cornelius surgery, it didnt have the monitoring equipment to quickly detect changes in respiration, the lawsuit alleged.
Lawsuits also have raised questions about whether Boutte allowed unqualified staff to do too much. Depositions revealed that a nurse manager wasnt a nurse at all. And Bouttes surgical assistant, who went to medical school in Peru but is not a licensed doctor here, was doing parts of procedures without Boutte staying in the same room and overseeing everything he did. Its absolutely outside the bounds of what hes allowed to do, Witt said.

Quack.
