With her wedding just two months away, Icilma Cornelius arrived at the Lilburn office of Dr. Windell Boutte to prepare for her special day.
The 54-year-old bride-to-be came to the doctors full-service medical spa and cosmetic surgery center for Botox and another anti-wrinkle treatment. While there, the staff recommended cosmetic surgery that could give her a flat stomach before she married. Cornelius agreed to the surgical makeover by Boutte, whose website promotes the doctor as nationally and internationally known and a doctor to the stars!

Speak for yourself, MonkeyBoy.
If ObamaCare had gone all the way, these pretend doctors would have been in high cotton.
And I bet there would have been enclaves of non-social-promotion (a/k/a "real") doctors operating in off-shore clinics in the Caribbean and elsewhere, for those Americans who could pay.
Very sad.
That procedure has become pretty common, and you don’t really here of terrible outcomes.

Ha ha ha! They’ll never find me! I’m wearing my Twinkie-lined tin foil hat!
Now, There is a deep reference
I am not worthy to be in your presence
I was at an outpatient surgery center a block away from the hospital.
Before I had surgery I had to have bloodwork and an ekg(? some kind of heart deal)at the pre-op screening.
I have hypothyroidism but I’m also getting.... older.
But wherever you go, there you are
And don’t pull on that, you don’t know where it goes, or some such.
Affirmative Action PhD, I’m thinking.
Through an attorney, Boutte declined an interview. Her website says she has over 100,000 satisfied patients and the site is loaded with testimonials from patients.
The site describes her Premiére Aesthetic Center as a state-of-the-art building where patients can pick from a huge buffet of services, including Brazilian butt lifts, tummy tucks and liposuction.
Boutte also advertises that she is board certified in both surgery and dermatology.
The AJC found, though, that while she is a board-certified dermatologist, she is not a board-certified plastic surgeon or general surgeon.
And Bouttes surgery suite was not an accredited operating room or licensed surgery center. During Cornelius surgery, it didnt have the monitoring equipment to quickly detect changes in respiration, the lawsuit alleged.
Lawsuits also have raised questions about whether Boutte allowed unqualified staff to do too much. Depositions revealed that a nurse manager wasnt a nurse at all. And Bouttes surgical assistant, who went to medical school in Peru but is not a licensed doctor here, was doing parts of procedures without Boutte staying in the same room and overseeing everything he did. Its absolutely outside the bounds of what hes allowed to do, Witt said.

Quack.
Soooo...like Freddy Tiffany, then? Not exactly confidence inspiring in a sturgeon.
Well, to be fair, it IS called Fix-A-Flat. Who was to know flat asses weren't included?
You would think someone vain enough to have plastic surgery would just lose weight. Its much easier
"Tay! Tay!"
"Where are we going?"
"Planet 10!"
"When are we going?"
"Real soon!"
