Scott Anderson and Benjamin Wittes, who is a friend of former FBI Director James Comey, sued the administration on Friday after they failed to initially release the results of the survey, Talking Points Memo reported.
The men had initially requested the documents under the Freedom of Information Act in April but filed the lawsuit after the federal government didn't hand over the information in the timeframe required by law.
The anonymous annual "climate survey" gauges employee's feelings about the agencies and was conducted from February to March, according to the report.
The lawsuit argues that there is a high level of interest in the survey results due to President Trump's repeated attacks on top FBI officials and the bureau itself.

Who would spend their person money on this? And why? Is it their personal money? Or someone else paying for it behind the scenes. All relevant. What is the purpose? Is it just to pile on the suits against the federal government? Again who is paying for ALL these lawsuits against the federal government. I want to see the full list.
Who should be embarrassed if it was revealed the FBI agents as a group hate their jobs under Pres. Trump?
Whenever I had a job that I could not stand going to I looked for and found another. I had no idea that I had the option to whine in a survey and make it all better. Life turned out fine. Maybe the whining snow flakes should get in a different line of work.
I don’t give a flying F*** how they feel...how about doing your job and turning in the employees that are involved in the coup....
Instead of focusing on their happiness quotient, the FBI’s employees should be more concerned that they are being led by political partisans who have destroyed the bureau’s credibility.

The survey ended in March, the buttwipes file a FOIA in April.
The company I work for issued a survey about our uniforms back in the beginning of March (they changed the style and the vendor back in Sept). They gave us a week to fill out the survey. My company has a fraction of the employees the FBI has, yet it took nearly 10 weeks to analyze the info from the survey and come up with changes.
But these two buttwipes expect the FBI to have the results of the survey ready within a few hours of the survey closing? I call BS on this. This reaks of another baseless hyperpartisan attack against the President.
And like others have mentioned on other threads about similar attacks.... Follow the money!
