A new program in the United Kingdom seeks to ban advertisements featuring thin women. The Committee of Advertising Practice, which provides all guidelines and restrictions for advertisements throughout various mediums in the United Kingdom, is considering adopting a proposal that would ban the use of body shaming advertisements featuring thin women. The proposal would also eliminate ads that feature gender stereotypes such as a man struggling to change a babys diaper or a woman failing to park a car.
Ella Smillie, the lead on the proposal, argued that certain forms of stereotyping can be harmful. Our review of the evidence strongly indicates that particular forms of gender stereotypes in ads can contribute to harm for adults and children by limiting how people see themselves and how others see them and the life decisions they take.
In 2015, fitness company Protein World came under fire over an ad campaign featuring a thin female model. Some called for Protein World to burn to the ground for their use of the model, which allegedly caused body insecurity issues in those who viewed the ad. Under Smillies proposal, advertisements featuring models with rare or unusual physiques would not be permitted.

Once upon a time, western civilization was defined by the belief that every person had the right to speak freely, and there was much advancement and progress and incredible wealth was created.
Then came leftists and political correctness, and nobody was allowed to speak freely any longer, because somebody was always offended by something somebody else said.
And western civilization died, and the world plunged back into the Dark Ages, and the caliphate was born.
The End.

Looks lean and healthy, maybe that is the problem, might even have good teeth.
Then again, from what pics I have seen of British women carousing, they are generally overweight smokers, and fugly, so maybe the girl on the billboard is very offensive to the self-indulgent fat chicks.

As the UK spirals into destruction, they are concerned about models getting too thin. They should be worried about the millions of muzzies who will rape the models, and then cut their heads off. Won’t matter if they’re fat or thin.
The UK proved over the weekend that they are lost and not to be taken seriously.
The UK is hell-bent on becoming as bleak and hopeless as the Soviet Union.

I can’t stand the ads showing a woman with Jay Bird legs looking 30 lbs underweight and most men would agree.
Some of the have beautiful faces but get below the neck and “yuke”.
This is life imitating art. Right out of a Kurt Vonnegut novel.
First, they took away Britain’s guns.
Then, they took away Britain’s minds.
Funny, from about a half century ago I seem to remember a young lady from Great Britain named Twiggy.......
After they do that will they make the Duchess of Cambridge at something?
If not, why bother with the ban.
The UK is losing its collective mind.
GB doesn’t rule the seas. Heck, the British don’t even rule their country anymore.
