I bet you guys and gals and Trump ancestors would stop development of the wheel or fire : )

Benjamin Franklin quote:
When asked what good a new invention was:
What good is a newborn baby?

Do you think the space station is a gun free zone?

Outstanding isn’t it? Great to have a reasonable rational adult in the white house!

The purpose of the International Space Station was to give the Space Shuttle a destination.

The purpose of the Space Shuttle was to go to the Space Station.

Seriously, Trump the Hotel magnate should know that if you attached a number of rooms and got a viewing deck you could treat it like a hotel in space and charge $100,000 a night to stay there! (Ferry service to earth not included!) 15 berths—they do not have to be luxury—$1.5 million a night, $540 million per year.

Not sure which of these can be attributable to the ISS but there are many NASA spinoffs that aren’t widely publicized.

We can debate if NASA is worth the money spent on it, but let’s do a little digging before we have the debate. NASA Spinoffs

I think the original life estimate on the ISS was 2020 but was extended to 2024 in 2014. Cutting funding off at 2025 isn’t exactly unexpected.

If the International Space Station is of little or no use then what will going back to the moon result in? Cut NASA altogether and leave a small cadre to coordinate with private industry.
