I didn’t realize there were all that many Korean Jews...

Article didn’t seem too interested in exploring the sourcing. North Korean or South Korean? Is circumcision commonly practiced in Korea or are we talking about a “circumcision” of a corpse rather than a living child? Does the child or child’s family get paid? Are the parents informed of what wacky things their son’s body parts are being used for?

South Korea. The practice was introduced by American medical officials.

The fact that foreskin is sold for cosmetic purposes is an open dirty secret for years. The widespread practice of it is rather unnecessary and just serves as a way to make money.
