The New York Times has essentially outed the CIA and FBI informant as Stefan Halper tonight in yet another lengthy justification article citing the reasoning from the perspective of the corrupt intelligence officers who conducted the surveillance and spying operation against the Trump campaign.

I had the same question why would the NYTs out Halper? The only thing that comes to mind is that the government insiders are thinking of mitigating the damage that may come from the OIG report.
After some thought it would have been August 2014.
2 FBI goons. FR search leaves a bit to be desired.
Thread was about a strike out of ATL by CSX.
They wanted info on the trucks and such as thou they were involved in an Amtrak derailment. Dipshit liberals in Sun City getting revenge on me. I dropped the names and they left.
Or as later reported, a case of attempted false entrapment by the dirty state.
To cross post to the reported thread:

Great question.
What if Halper is the scapegoat, who’s been outed to hide an even deeper player?
Who else might be out there?
What if Halper has already met his demise? Rosenstein and Senator Warner already warned that his exposure would be him and hes associates at great risk. With that spin in mind, perhaps the setup of Nunes and Gowdy was to blame them for his demise. Fortunately, Nunes and Gowdy avoided the Friday setup meeting where they could be blamed for the exposure of Halper of of his demise.
Would powers in our government kill someone to provide CYA? You bet your ass they would!
