“There was a study about 25 years ago that looked at mass shootings including the “McMassacre” in this story, as to which weapons used caused the highest death rates. Not surprisingly shotguns were far above handguns and semi-auto rifles in fatality rates. The worst thing would be if these shooters switched form scary black rifles to pump shotguns.”
I predict the media won’t dwell on this as it did on Parkland and Sandy Hook, since it doesn’t fit their “ban the scary looking guns” narrative. It also shows the value of having someone with a gun on scene. Now if the media really wanted to help end these they would never show the perp’s picture and end the blanket coverage. These shooters do this for a kind of immortality.
